Stars' Empire
A real-time network strategy game. This is the world where you can create your own empire, develop science, improve your planets, design and construct spaceships. However, be aware, for you are not alone in Virtual Reality. Can you deal with the attacks from your wealth-hungry Emperor-neighbors? Perhaps diplomacy, aggression, or extra protection will help you become the best in the universe...
Mission
At the beginning there was a bang, a big bang. And it was the Big Bang. Many galaxies appeared, but one differed from the others. In this galaxy four different races have reached outer space at the same time, and each of them claimed supremacy over the galaxy. They are so different, but equally cramped in the same galaxy.
Each race is prepared to do anything to achieve its goal. But even within the races themselves, none are united. Hundreds and thousands of lords ruling over planets and even star systems failed to unite their powers in order to help their race gain the superiority. Honesty and betrayal, generosity and perfidy, power and weakness alternately score off.
Diplomacy, trade, war and insecure peace are ends and means at the same time. And each of them is is prepared to do anything to become the best. To become THE EMPEROR. And everyone has a chance, if only the dare. Maybe it is you who will decide the destiny of the Galaxy and all its inhabitants, maybe you were meant to discover the mystery of Forerunners and their knowledge. You just have to make one little step to the outer space, a step to Stars Empire...
Resources
There are several types of resources:
Minerals, Materials, Helium, Population, Platforms for construction, Local currency, Ergopacks and Artifacts.
Maniron, Arselil, Titanite.
These are used in construction and for accessories assembling.
These are mined on asteroid fields. They are also extracted on planets, though accumulate slowly and are exhausted as the planet ages.
These are used in construction and for accessories assembling.
These are produced on planets and in asteroid fields. The amount produced on planets is directly related to the level of the "Raw Materials
Base". The storage limit per planet is 2 000 000.
This is used in construction, for accessory assembling, and as a fuel for starships.
It is produced on planets, in hyperspace gates, and in asteroid fields. On planets/hypergates, production is directly related to the level of the "Helium isotope separator". The storage limit per planet is 2 000 000
×The greater is the initial number of platforms on your planet, the more population you get, and, consequently, the platforms extend, this fact resulting into an increase in population number.
Population growth depends on the level of health care. Is required for almost any development and construction process.
The number of available platforms determines the possibility of planet upgrade and development.
You may increase the number of platforms by developing the "Industrial complex" and "Climate control", or through artifact research.
This is used for all construction and upgrades. Population taxing brings Local Currency income to the budget. The maximum amount per player is 5 000 000.
These are used as fuel and for some developments. One (1) Ergopack is equal to 1000 units of Helium.
Ergopacks are produced on hyperspace gates and in power converters. They may be made from Materials, Accessories, and even from Helium.
These can be found in asteroid fields. Artifact research requires Academy of level 6. Inside Artifacts may be found various technologies, Forerunners' modules, ergopacks, viruses, etc.
Planet economy
The basis of any planet's economy is its Population and Energy. The planet's population growth rate can be increased through Health Care services. However, the population cannot exceed its maximum, which depends on planet size, high-rise construction technology, and health care services. The collective labor of the planet's population is evaluated in the planet's gross product. The gross product can be used in construction, for scientific development, and for ship construction. The gross product that isn't spent in branches is automatically factored into taxes.
Energy is generated by: Solar Power Plant, Central Heating and Power Plant, Fusion Power Plant. Power is required for the population's normal activity, for production at the raw material base, in helium isotope separators, and for the operation of the accessories factory.
On planets, asteroids, and orbital bases, three things are produced: Materials, Helium-3, and Rare Minerals. The amount of stored Raw Materials depends on depot capacity, which may be increased through construction.
Planetary Distribution
The upper chart:
By default, your entire gross income is taxed, and, therefore, planetary currency is accumulated. This situation lasts only if there is no construction or science development. If you decrease tax rates, and thus transfer funds for construction, you'll build faster, but will gain less currency. The same reasoning applies to science. In other words, you may choose a distribution of development and either you may uniformly develop all of the branches or you may temporarily increase the development of some of them and decrease others.
The lower chart:
1. In the lower chart, you distribute power among cities' population, the raw materials and helium plants, or the accessories factory. In other words, if you don't have enough power, you may balance these parameters to achieve optimal results. In addition, it has to be taken into account that solar power plants generate energy without an adjustable input, while central heating and power plants require materials, and fusion plants require helium-3.
2. The same chart shows the amount of output (green color) and consumption (red color) of different branches.
Construction and Science
In the "Construction" and "Science" sections you'll find the available developments and the necessary materials and values to perform these actions. The timing is estimated using the current gross product, which depends on the amount of population on your planet. Therefore, the estimated time can change if population and distribution parameters are modified. Any incomplete processes can be canceled at any time and all of the spent materials and funds will be returned to your account. You can disassemble finished constructions to return a fraction of the spent money, materials, and other supplies needed for the original construction.
