Creatures so fearsome, that even the bravest hen in your chicken farm flees for its life. Of course you also need lots of chickens
, what could be better to fill the bellies of your massive army? Dig your way through the underworld and build the largest dungeon. Beware! You will need to defend yourself from thousands of other dungeon keepers, as you are not alone!Game Basics
There are 4 types of resources in Dig'N'Fight: chickens
, unused dungeon fields
, empty sleeping areas
and gold
. You need gold
and dungeon fields
to add new rooms to your dungeon. Gold
, chickens
and sleeping areas
are necessary for hiring new creatures. You can acquire gold by forming digging troops with your imps and sending them to search for gold. You can also receive gold by successfully attacking an enemy. New dungeon fields
can only be created by sending out digging troops to add empty fields to your dungeon. The number of chickens
available is determined by the size of your chicken farm and the number of sleeping areas
depends on the size of your sleeping quarters. To familiarise yourself with Dig'n'Fight you should begin by building new rooms under Dungeon --> Upgrade. Once you are done, hire a new imp and add him to your existing digging group. Then you can send the digging troop to search for gold
. Also take a look at the requirements for adding new rooms, upgrading existing rooms and hiring new creatures. You can also see how you measure up to the other dungeon keepers by attacking their dungeons. To do so, form an attack group with your available units and select an available enemy from the list under Actions -> Attack.

Dungeon
Dungeon overview:
Here you can review all of the available information about your armies. You can see which units are currently digging, are on their way back to your dungeon or are undergoing training. You can also see how much longer the current action will require.
Dungeon upgrades:
Here you can add new rooms to your dungeon and upgrade existing rooms to give you room for expansion. The type and size of the rooms are requirements for the creation of new and stronger creature types. Rooms cost you gold
and dungeon fields
. Both can be obtained by sending out digging troops to mine gold
or excavate new dungeon fields
.Creatures
Recruiting:
Here you can recruit new creatures. New creatures can be recruited if you have enough sleeping areas
and chickens
available. The upgrade level of your dungeon determines what types of creatures you can recruit; that is, the type and size of the rooms in your dungeon determines which creatures are available to you. You can always create imps, they do not require sleeping areas
or chickens
; however, the more imps you have the more expensive the next recruited imp becomes.Training:
Once your training room has been upgraded to 3x3 and you have enough gold
, you can train one creature at a time. With each new upgrade to the training room you can train an additional creature (with room size 4X4 2 creatures can be trained simultaneously. Each level trained increases the base health points, field coverage (for dungeon defence), range, minimum and maximum damage, chance to hit and load-carrying ability of your creatures. Each additional level trained is more expensive and requires more time to complete than the previous level.
Management:
Here you can form digging, attack and defence troops with your creatures. Digging troops can only be made up of imps and are used to dig for gold
and excavate new dungeon fields
for expansion for your dungeon. Attack troops can penetrate enemy dungeons and enrich you with enemy gold (under Actions -> Attack). Attack troops are of no use in defending your dungeon, defence troops must be formed to protect your realm. Defence troops only cover a certain number of the fields in your dungeon, so the larger your dungeon, the more defence troops become necessary to completely prevent enemies from simply sneaking into your dungeon undetected. If you do not have 100% coverage of your dungeon, the enemy has a chance of slipping into your dungeon and stealing your Gold
without even encountering your troops.Research:
This menu item leads you to the research area for traps and spells. Sorcerer require research slots to carry out the desired research and the higher the level of your library, the more research slots you will have. The time required to complete a research project can be reduced by adding more sorcerers/slots or by adding sorcerers with higher levels.
Completely researched spells can be immediately used under actions --> attack/defense, but spells must always be activated before an attack. Researched traps must be tinkered (built) by trolls before you can use them.
Tinker:
Here you can assign tinkering tasks for your trolls. Trolls require tinkering slots to work on projects and the higher the level of your workshop, the more trolls you can assign to a project. The time required to complete a tinkering project can be reduced by adding more trolls/slots or by adding trollss with higher levels.
Completed traps can be activated and managed under the menu item Manage traps; traps can be deactivated to make room for new and better traps.
Under the menu item aktions --> defend you can see what effects your active traps currently have.
Actions
Digging
Under creatures -> Management you can create a digging troop made up of imps. Then under actions -> Digging you can give the digging troop the command to either dig for gold
or to excavate new dungeon fields
.Attack
Under attack a small portion of the highscore list is visible and you can choose an enemy dungeon as a target from this list. Possible targets are all dungeon keepers X places above and X places below your rank in the highscore. Each of these enemies can be attacked up to 3 times every 4 hours; once the 4 hours have passed you can attack the same target again.
All available targets are marked green, any targets marked in red have either been attacked by you 3 times in the last 4 hours or are outside of your target range. To carry large amounts of gold
, you should include imps in your attack troop.Battle sequence
Battles take place in rounds; the higher the range of your creatures, the more rounds they are able to fight. Creatures can be flankers, blockers, battle supporters or sprinters. Additionally, each creature type also has a preferred enemy type.
For example, black knights prefer to attack sprinters such as vampires. The chance to hit for the creature's weapon determines whether the attack was successful. Damage from successful attacks ranges between the minimum and maximum possible damage.
Defence:
Here you can see how many dungeon fields are covered by your defence and how likely it is that an enemy can enter your dungeon without being detected and attacked by your defence troops.
