Introduction
In Cybergame you will live in a future city (inspired to Cyperpunk culture) full of pollution and with an ostile life for the hundreds fight among gang along streets. You became the boss of one of those gang, which goal is get the supremacy over all other gangs using every war way which you will be able to develop time over time..
Let's begin to describe the game. First thing will be the resources production to build in our quarter defenses and give to our gang armed unites. The unique resource you need is Credits, local currency, and Hardware, the prime matter to use like bulding material. In Cybergame natural resoruces of Earth are only a past memory and foxile fuel drained out and river pollution makes impossible electic energy production using whirls, and also the sun is covered by pollution caused by uncontrolled usage of oil. The only energy available is eolic one.
Hardware recycling laboratory gives the possibility to increase Hardware and Alloy production, Clutch and Repair Laboratoty helps in accumulating Credits. Current tecnology makes man able to extend his mental and physical abilities thanks to bionic clutches, syntetic drugs and son on. Obviously as soon as Hardware Recycling and Clutch and Repair Laboratory level increases, you should increase also eolic central level, to keep at maximum level production efficiency. Later, to product more Credits, you could begin to make money from prostitution, which is largely used in current times.
More our production increases, you should begin to develop new tecnologies able to empower yourself e our gang's members. To understand what to develop please look at development boxes table. Each tecnology, defense or units in Cybergame needs a tecnology level like pre-requirements. First try to develop tecnology to empower production, than defense and lately units to attack enemies.
Network is another offensive resource very useful. To use it, you should create a Mainframe and you should develop Computer Crack and Virus to use like tecnological weapons. More power will have your Mainframe and higher will be the possibility for your attack to be successfull. It's very important for a good attack strategy to enter in enemy's Network to acquire information about them and their armies and resources. But now let' begin to fight!
Begin to play, development
The Cybergame is a strategy game and at the beginning you should developer your resources to acquire enough energy to gang development.
Each structure in The Cybergame has a cost:
- Credits (game currency)
- Hardware (tecnological raw material)
Information about Credits and Hardware available and about hourly production rate are summarized upper bar which you can always look at. To increase resources you should click on DEVELOPMENT menu.
To product Credits you can build up:
- Clutch and repair Laboratory
- Prostitution
To product Hardware there is only one possibility:
- Hardware and Alloy recycling laboratory
Resources production needs energy and you can get energy with Eoloic Central. Structure using energy are (use increases with level growing):
- Clutch and repair Laboratory
- Hardware and Alloy recycling laboratory
- Mainframe
If energy is not enough to maximize production, hourly production rate of Harware and Credits will be lowered and his value will be red (a warning will be showed in MAIN menu).
Hardware is stored into the ARMOURED WAREHOUSE (DEVELOPMENT menu). If Hardware stored is more than capacity, production is stopped and it is showed a warning in MAIN menu. To increase warehouse capacity you need to incrase ARMOURED WAREHOUSE level in DEVELOPMENT menu.
If Credits are not enough, you can sell Hardware (in MAIN menu) with an exchange rate of 75%.
Until development rate level of 50 you can accumulate not more than 30.000 Credits, after that there are no limits. It is also possibile to deposit Credits into a bank (look ALLIANCES).
EVOLUTION button in MAIN menu shows our development level and requirements to create new resources/units/defenses.
Each resource needs a time interval to be built which starts from 10 minutes and increases with level growing. To lowering development time you must increase HUMANOIDS level in DEVLEOPMENT menu.
Defenses
When you reach a sufficient development level, you should begin to protect your resources from enemy attacks.
In Cybergame who losses all UNITS and DEFENSES in an attack, gives to attacking players half of credits and hardware resources owned at moment of the attack by defending player.
So you need to defend yourself (DEFENSE menu)
Each attack against you, it will be immediately visualized in MAIN menu (with a countdown to show attack time of arrival). When the countdown goes to zero, a message (MESSAGES menu) will be sent yo you with the attack report and losses
Under each defense (DEFENSE menu) are showed the following characteristics:
1) Attack: N1 ?N2: during an attack, defense will act with a power equal to a random number among N1 and N2. P = Random (N1 - N2)
2) Speed: V: total attack is equal to power multiplicated speed (TotAttack = P x V).
3) Armor: it shows the value withdrawed from enemy attack (not more than 80%)
4) Structure: it shows hit points level of defense.
Missiles are the only defenses you cannot destroy.
Another possible defense strategy is to move our resources with a convoy (look ATTACK AND UNITS MOVEMENT in this guide).
During the game you must defend yourself also from attacks generated by MAINFRAME. To defend yourself you should develop MAINFRAME and COMPUTER CRACK AND VIRUS level.
